Current Needs

We are very excited about the help we have been able to send to Haiti and particularly the village of Sault d'eau. God has blessed us deeply by enabling us to reach across the world and help those less fortunate than ourselves but this is an ongoing effort.

After meeting with Pierre Belzince here in Canada in April we have been made aware of a number of challenges facing the Bon Samaritan mission and the people of Haiti. These are the issues that God has placed on our hearts to take action on.

• An increase in the monthly allotment of funds to purchase rice and beans for the school
  
• The construction of a pipeline to bring clean drinking water from the mountains to the village of Sault d'eau.
  
• The next priority village for sponsorship is the village of La Digue. This village represents the hub of Pierre's Christian ministry including the head pastor (Pastor Parent), 17 teachers and 523 children.
  
• We need to improve communications with Pierre and the best solution for this is to provide him with a laptop computer that he can take to an internet café in Haiti. We are currently looking to obtain a donated or discounted laptop.

Bon Samaritan Canada does not currently have the resources to fulfill all these needs. There is however a strong desire to provide the people of Haiti with these basic needs and we are faithful that God will provide as He always does.
